The Inti Raymi was one of the main festivities of the Inca calendar. It was celebrated in June, agreeing with one of the solstices. In the present time a representation of this celebration is made every year in the city of Cuzco, but no longer in the main seat, like long ago, but in the esplanade that extends in front of Sacsayhuamán.
