Luis Alfonso Santistevan de Noriega, born January 14, 1955, in Arequipa, Peru, is a prominent actor, playwright, director, and theater professor. He is considered a key figure in contemporary Peruvian theater, having influenced the theatrical, television, and cinematic landscapes in his country for decades. Santistevan began his theatrical career in 1972, studying at the Teatro de la Universidad Católica (TUC) in Lima.
