Soups: Potato Soup
Ingredients
- 2 cups of potatoes, quartered
- 6 cups of boiled water
- 1/3 pound of ground beef
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 cup of chopped turnip
- 1 cup of chopped carrot
- 1 celery stalk, cut into pieces
- 1 green or red bell pepper, chopped
- Salt and pepper
Preparation
In a saucepan, melt the butter and sauté the chopped onion. Add the meat and the remaining ingredients. Cover with boiling water. Boil until all ingredients are cooked. Adjust the salt to taste.
