Appetizers: Guacamole
Ingredients (for 6 people)
- 2 ripe avocados
- 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
- 1 lime
- 1 small onion
- ½ clove of garlic
- ½ tomato and/or ½ bell pepper
- Chili (optional)
- Salt and pepper
Preparation
Mash the avocados with a fork or blend them with the mayonnaise and a few drops of lime juice. Add the finely chopped onion and garlic. Add finely chopped tomato, bell pepper, and chili to taste. Season. Serve cold, immediately.
Guacamole is great as a dip for raw vegetables (carrots, radishes, celery, etc.), chips, or crackers.
