Soups: Pea Flour Soup
Ingredients
- 10 tablespoons of pea flour
- 1 small chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons of margarine
- 2 ¾ liters of beef broth
- 1 medium peeled and chopped tomato
- 3 minced garlic cloves
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fried bread cubes
Preparation
In a saucepan, melt the margarine and sauté the onion, tomato, and minced garlic with salt and pepper to taste. Once everything is well sautéed but not browned, add the broth. When it starts to boil, add the pea flour dissolved in water. Stir well and boil until you get a light cream. Serve and garnish each plate with fried bread cubes.
