Chicken: Casserole Chicken
Ingredients
- 1 small chicken
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ½ tablespoon vinegar
- A pinch of sugar
- Salt to taste
- 1 small grated onion
Preparation
Cut the chicken into four pieces. In a bowl, mix the pepper, garlic, salt, sugar, cumin, vinegar, and paprika until it forms a smooth paste. Rub the chicken pieces with this paste, making small incisions to allow the paste to penetrate. In a skillet with hot oil, fry the chicken to sear it. Remove and set aside.
In a separate pot with a little oil, fry the onion, then add the chicken. Add the rest of the paste and a little water. Cover and simmer over low heat until the chicken is cooked through. Remove the chicken and reduce the sauce until it thickens slightly. Serve the chicken with the sauce, accompanied by white rice, fried potatoes, and a salad.
