Beef/Lamb: Beef with Bacon
Ingredients (for 6 people)
- 1 kilo of tenderloin
- 200 grams of bacon
- ½ glass of red wine
- 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon of pepper
- ½ teaspoon of ground garlic
- 1 tablespoon of flour
- ½ teaspoon of salt
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
Preparation
Cut the tenderloin into medallions and rub them with Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and pepper. Then wrap each medallion with bacon pieces (preferably smoked) and let them marinate. In a pan, fry the medallions and add salt. Mix the juice released by the meat during frying with the wine and flour to make a sauce. Pour the sauce over the medallions and serve them with mashed potatoes, cooked vegetables, or white rice.
