Chifa (Asian-Peruvian): Pork in Oyster Sauce
Ingredients
- 250 grams of pork
- ½ bell pepper cut into julienne strips
- ½ cup of chopped green onions
- ¼ cup of chicken broth
- 100 grams of snow peas
- 4 tablespoons of oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon of cornstarch
- sesame oil
- ginger
- soy sauce
- salt
Preparation
Cut the pork into julienne strips (lengthwise), add salt, and brown it in very hot oil. Set aside. In the same pan, sauté the green onions, snow peas, bell pepper, and ginger. Add sesame oil, chicken broth, oyster sauce, soy sauce, salt, and the browned pork. Finally, add the cornstarch dissolved in water to thicken. Serve hot with white rice.
