Fish/Seafood: Seafood Fritters
Ingredients
- 3 fish fillets
- 200 grams of octopus
- Salt, cumin, Chinese pepper
- 2 onions
- 2 tomatoes
- 2 lemons
- 200 grams of cornstarch
- 200 grams of breadcrumbs
- ¼ kilo of squid
- ½ dozen clams
- 200 grams of shrimp tails
- Oil
Preparation
Mix the breadcrumbs with cornstarch, salt, Chinese pepper, and cumin. Coat the fish fillets with the mixture and fry in plenty of oil. Set aside on a serving dish, keeping them warm.
Prepare the "salsa criolla": Cut the tomatoes into small cubes and slice the onions lengthwise. Add salt, pepper, vinegar, and oil. Mix well and arrange over the fish on the dish.
Coat the seafood with the same mixture and fry in plenty of oil. Arrange them over the "salsa criolla." Serve immediately, accompanied by boiled and fried yuca and tartar sauce.
