Desserts: Small Alfajores
Ingredients
- 250 g of grated coconut
- 1 cup of sugar
- 4 egg whites
- ½ cup of condensed milk
Preparation
Beat the egg whites to stiff peaks and gradually add the sugar while mixing. Add the condensed milk mixed with the grated coconut.
On greased baking sheets, form small balls using two teaspoons or a pastry bag. Bake at a low temperature (300°F or 150°C) for 15 to 20 minutes until they are golden but still soft inside. Let them cool on the tray.
